Where were you born (city): Kitchener
Best Memory About Child Hood: Every time we went to visit my grandparents, my great grandmother would always give us a loonie before we left.
Best friend in grade school: Mohamed A…he was also my backyard neighbour! We’ve lost touch though, but Mohamed, if you read this…send me a message!
Favourite band in the 1970’s, 1980’s, 90’s, 2000’s: Beach Boys, Britney Spears (I went through a phase), Usher, Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Jay-Z
Favourite/Greatest movie of all time: God of Gamblers
Best vacation ever: Namale Resort, Fiji (yeah, it was featured on the Bachelor…and it’s owned by Tony Robbins!)
Favourite sports team: Los Angeles Lakers (Kobe Bryant)
Favourite sports memory and why: Steering and coaching a come behind 1st place finish in Hamilton for our dragon boat team.
Favourite Restaurant: McDonald’s…great for breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night snacks!
Scariest thing that ever happened to you: It was probably after the fact that I realized how scary it could’ve been, but I almost got into a fight during a trip to China with a tour group. Someone bumped and pushed my mom while she walking ahead of me, so I pushed him back to get him out of the way (no one disrespects my mom like that!). He walked away and a few moments later, he came behind me and yanked on my collar. My dad and another guy from the tour group just pushed me into the nearest store and let the situation fizzle. I was reacting on instinct, but could’ve ended up real bad if it escalated.
Are you superstitious: Sometimes, mainly during Chinese New Year.
Favourite song: I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing – Aerosmith
Next place you want to visit and why: Vancouver…because I’ve never been there yet!
The principles you live by: Treat others how you want to be treated. There’s no room for negativity and complaining. Taking action gets results, sitting idle will get you nowhere.
What you want to be remembered for: Loving and caring to family and friends, real estate mogul, philanthropist, and craps player extraordinaire.
